The topic of Bindu Sadhana or Vajroli is fascinating and oft guarded. Even if references are found here there in various texts, they are not sufficiently explained. One found this very old book ‘Bindu Sadhana’ of 1937 publication written by Mahatama Ananad Swaroop ji very informative from theory as well as well practical aspect. Here one is sharing the introduction of the book for the benefit and kindling interest in various beginners. Om!
By writing this book ‘Vishvatma Om’ has helped in the sadhana of Indian practitioners. The importance of Yog, Samadhi and Control is extremely important. But these cannot be achieved without achieving Dharana and Dhyan. Many different mudras are required to succeed in Dharana like Agochari1, Bhuchari2, Chachari3, Khechari4 and Shambhavi5. The importance of mudras in Yogshastras’ is unique. Many benefits can be generated from the mudras and many minor sidhis can also be achieved through it.
As through Shambhavi and Shanmukhi Mudra one can succeed in control over Mind and Pranvayu and thereby gain purification of Antahkaran in exactly the same manner as a Vajroli sadhak by gaining control over the seminal flow can attain Samadhi. It is the principle of Yogic scriptures that Mind, Prana and Semen are not different but one entity only. Controlling any one of them provides control over all the three. Hence in Yog shastras different procedures have been given to control them separately. Like through the practice of Ishwar pranidhaan or oneness mind can be tamed, through practice of pranayam Pran can be tamed and through practice of Vajroli-semen can be won over.
These days one finds very few practitioners of Kriya Yog. Because sharing the talks of subtle realm, nothing can be shown in the gross world and followers have to fall back on respect and devotion only. More onus is on the teachers who teach the gross procedures of the grosser techniques. On it depends the success or failure of the practitioner. Without experiencing the kriyas by one’s own practice, sharing it with others is like causing one’s own fall in front of the disciples. This will spoil the disciples too making oneself a criminal. To explain such a difficult subject of Vajroli is extremely laudable and is helpful for the general practitioners. The writer has explained the techniques and the hardware used for same in great detail.
Most of the people these days are spoiling their lives by wasting semen. Especially many young men and women go to various doctors for achieving child birth. For them this mudra is extremely important. If they can practice this mudra to perfection in front of their Guru then Bhog and Moksha both will become available to them. As per Chandogya Upnishad, knowledge received through one’s Guru always help achieve the right desired fruit. If read through books etc. that knowledge becomes very painful. So if want to make our Vajroli mudra successful, joy giving and powerful then we will have to hear from our Guru and practice in front of him only.
In here, all the important parts of the Vajroli sadhana have been concisely explained. By referring to copulation in extremely limited words, writer has asked to beginners to be aware of the adulterers, people claiming to keep the practice secret (while actually they do not know it) and unqualified as gentle practitioners have been told that Vajroli mudra is for protecting ones semen and achieving lustre and glory of Brahman. One who uses it in the wrong manner, such a practitioner will fall by attracting diseases. By sharing this knowledge one should help friends, society and country to rise by protecting their secretion.
